Robin Yount, born on September 16, 1955, is an American professional baseball player. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1989 and is considered one of the greatest shortstops in baseball history. Yount was known for his exceptional defensive and offensive skills, earning 10 All-Star Game selections and 5 Gold Glove Awards throughout his career.
