Dan Colen (b. 1979) is an American contemporary artist renowned for his multidisciplinary practice spanning painting, sculpture, installation, and performance. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Colen's work explores themes of materiality, identity, and consumer culture. As a prominent figure in the post-street art movement, he bridges the gap between street art and mainstream contemporary art.
