Idi Amin, born in 1925, was a former President for Life of Uganda. He came to power in a coup in 1966 and ruled the country for eight years. Amin's regime was characterized by extreme racism and brutal policies, leading to the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Ugandans. He died in Saudi Arabia on August 16, 2003. more
