Grey Owl, whose real name was Arthur Washington Bell, was a Canadian author, photographer, and environmentalist. He is known for his identity as an Ojibway, although he was not an indigenous person himself. He wrote several books about nature and indigenous culture, with his autobiography 'My Wild Life' being particularly notable. Born on September 18, 1888, Grey Owl passed away on April 13, 1938. more
