“The music of a civilization has far-reaching consequences on consciousness and, thus, influences the basic nature of a society. Music and its rhythms divert and compel the awareness, describing the limits within which a consciousness, thus fascinated, may operate. Control the music, then, and you own a powerful tool with which to shape the society. ―The Dosadi Analysis, BuSab Documents”

“As any painter, writer, or composer knows, artworks arise from the tension between their physical materials and the thought or spirit that shapes them from within. Though they require some outward, physical element, they cease to function as art when they are reduced to their objectlike, artifactual element. This definitive tension underlies art’s varied social uses and explains how it came to be celebrated on the one hand as an expression of the highest spiritual achievements of humanity and, on the other, criticized as merely another precious object—a trapping of wealth, privilege, and social exclusion. Even in the heyday of classical music, there was always a gap between the philosophical claims for music and social practice”

“POSSIBILITY There's a possibility There's a possibility All that I had was all I'm gon' get There's a possibility There's a possibility All I gon' get is gon' be yours then All I gon' get is gon' be yours still So tell me when you hear my heart stop You're the only one that knows Tell me when you hear my silence There's a possibility I wouldn't know Know that when you leave Know that when you leave By blood and by me You walk like a thief By blood and by me And I fall when you leave So tell me when you hear my heart stop You're the only one that knows Tell me when you hear my silence There's a possibility I wouldn't know So tell me when my sigh's over You're the reason why I'm closed Tell me when you hear me fallin' There's a possibility it wouldn't show By blood and by me And I'll fall when you leave By blood and by me I follow your lead”

“One of the more interesting things you'll notice in the entire history of poetry & poets, art & artists is those useless untalented individuals that call themselves " experts" or " critics" . The sad fact is that throughout that same history people actually were gullible and listened to them and bought their books or paintings. We no longer live in the age where poets were mass- read or rockstars but even now, in the 21st century we unfortunately must still deal with these ridiculous fops who merely give themselves these titles and use this as a tool to destroy or slander, debase or tear apart the works of other more talented poets so that their needy lackluster words will steal the other poets thunder and limelight to make themselves the center of attention. How pathetic is that? Very pathetic indeed. Hence ? We are far smarter than those who once fell for these self centered antics and we have thankfully made these manipulative con artists extinct. POETRY & ART is for EVERYBODY. From different countries, backgrounds and cultures. And the myth of experts or critics has finally been flushed down the toilet where they belong. Their words & voices now meaning what it was in the first place. NOTHING.”
