Doc Hastings (full name Richard Norman "Doc" Hastings, born February 7, 1941) is an American Republican politician who served as the U.S. Representative for Washington's 4th congressional district from 1995 to 2015. He focused on natural resources, energy, and agricultural policies, and chaired the House Natural Resources Committee from 2011 to 2015. Known for his conservative stance and advocacy for local interests, he played a key role in Columbia River hydropower and irrigation issues.
