Marcus Luttrell, born on November 7, 1975, is an American armed forces officer. He is renowned for his heroic actions during the Afghanistan War, particularly during a 2005 helicopter assault where he and his fellow soldiers were ambushed by Taliban forces. He was the sole survivor of the incident, and his story has been widely shared, including in the 2012 film 'Lone Survivor'. more
