“Who then is to judge what is good, true, and beautiful? You are. Plato says it is the soul: the proper dimensions and proportions are already stored in our minds, and when we recognize the good, true, and beautiful-- how is it that we do it? It is by anamnesis, the act of recalling what we have seen somewhere before.
