Et puis la foule, au moment de la musique et de la sortie des magasins. Des étudiants, comme à présent. Le soir, des amants qui s’embrassent ; d’autres qui se quittent en pleurant. Enfin, à la tombée du jour, un vieux couple… Et, tout à coup, un roulement de tambour ; on ferme. Tout le monde sort. La pièce est finie.
