Leon Degrelle was a Belgian politician born on June 15, 1906, and died on March 31, 1994. He was the leader of the Flemish nationalist organization Vlaams-nationalistische Beweging and supported Nazi Germany during World War II. After the war, he was convicted of war crimes and sentenced to life imprisonment, which was later commuted due to health reasons. more
