'That would suggest,' Perry said, 'that goodness and God are essentially synonymous.' 'That's the idea,' the rabbi said. 'In biblical times, when God manifested Himself more directly. Only faith in Christ redeems us. Without him, we're lost in a sea of second-guessing our motives.”
