Life Goals Quotes

“Within each public issue, the clearest division is between moderates and extremists. As such, the right third parties in a negotiation are moderates. They, more than extremists, are focused on building a better way of life (tomorrow), whereas most extremists are focused on tearing things down as a penalty for yesterday.”

“It doesn't matter where you are right now. No matter where you are, you're on the way to greatness If you desire that reality. Be present. Be grateful for the stepping stones that have you here today reflecting on your dreams. Stepping stones are a necessary part of the success process. Go into overdrive now. You can do this. No one ever made it in just one day. Each step is a part of the process. It doesn't matter what it takes! You're winning! Keep flowing all the way there. Stay up. You were born a winner!”

“No Pain, No Hope (The Sonnet) Heavier the pain, greater the hope, But the language of hope is not inaction. Real hope brings a sense of responsibility, Whereas imitation hope induces stagnation. Heavier the pain, stronger the purpose, But all purpose is fiction without footwork. Real purpose does not let you sleep at night, Imitation purpose keeps you aloof from work. Crueler the punishment, braver the love, It is no love that avoids punishment. Only half lovers try to keep pain at bay, Soaked in pain true lovers emerge triumphant. Crazier the torture, sweeter the memories. There is no character if there is no crisis.”

“To Those Who Mean Well (Sonnet From A God) Dear vermin of the greedy gutters of earth, I permit you to live as your whims may dawn. I just wish, expired cigarette buts wouldn't show the moronic audacity to advise the sun. I don't hate you for your life of greed and filth, But the most you are gonna get from me is pity. Apes who are alien to the concept of accountability, Are no more significant than a termite community. With all your googling expertise, how about you spend some data researching the term "ambition". Know your place, my dear armchair intellectuals, Chimps should speak only when spoken to by a human. To you who mean well, your death is the end of your story. My death is the beginning of a legend.”

“Ambition in Motion (The Sonnet) Come hell or high water, Never let caution cripple your feet. Better to fall hard and learn a lesson, Than speculate forever with couched feet. Everything I've achieved is by trial and error, There was no handbook to aid my mission. Maps to known paths are available plenty, But there is no map to uncharted destination. You are the handbook to your ambition, Not your background or family treasures. If you persist long enough, at some point, Your persistence will outrun your failures. Better fail than frozen - failure is the foundation. Failure is the first sign of ambition in motion.”

“IP is not just an idea; it’s an intangible asset that does a specific job for you. Each one is different—patents, trademarks, copyrights. The specific way you get that job done is what you’re protecting, and the way you do it affects the asset value.”

“IP filing is a race. The first person to file and get accepted wins and can shut you down, even if the idea was yours in the first place. Waiting too long means you don’t get a patent. Too many companies do just that.”

“All any alienated man can hope for is to find a livelihood that fits his expanding sense of self. Blessed is he who accepts without complaint the toil that is suited for the riot of his soul. Blessed is he who discovers a calling that he willingly devotes his entire heart and soul to accomplishing. Blessed is he who exhausts himself performing whatever his inner nature demands. Blessed is he who dares to seek, search, discover, and to create what he cannot suppress. Blessed is he who gives air to what he cannot strangle within and still live a full life any more than one can choose to stop breathing and maintain a heartbeat. Blessed is he who raises himself to a higher pitch and institutes harmony within himself. Blessed is he who loves his family, cares for his people, and radiates a vast love for the hills, rivers, creeks, mountains, tress, sky, and all the birds, plants, grasses, marshes, and the multitudes of creatures that call nature’s wonderland their paradise.”

“Brain, Heart and Empty Pocket (Hopeless Sonnet) Hope is rather important to me, so much so, I even named a title Esperanza Impossible. But my hope is not that of wishful inaction, my hope is a furnace of valiance untamable. It's more important to be the hope and help, than have the hope that help is on the way. No one is too helpless to lift themselves, all you need is a purpose to define your way. If this son of a factory worker could conquer the world with brain, heart and empty pocket, why do you succumb to fictitious despair, the greatest hopes are always hopeless! Rise, revolt and be the hope, take no defeat as your destiny. Till your world bathes in your light, be the hopeless warrior of incorruptibility.”

“Naskar is made by Naskar alone, not an industry or benefactor - or more importantly, by family wealth. I had a roof over my head, food on the table, and clothes on my back - that was more than enough. I started writing with literally zero dollar in my pocket. Let me tell you how it began, because for some reason, I completely forgot a crucial event of my life when I wrote my memoir Love, God & Neurons. I once met an American tourist at a local train in Calcutta. The first thing he asked me was, had I lived in the States? I said, no. Then how come you have an American accent - he asked. Watching movies - I said. We got chatting and he told me about a book he had recently published, a memoir. I believe, this was the cosmic event that planted the thought of writing my own books in my head - I had already started my self-education in Neurology and Psychology, and I was all determined to publish research papers on my ideas, but not books. Meeting the person somehow subconsciously shifted my focus from research papers to books. So the journey began. And for the first few years, I made no real money from my books. Occasionally some of my books would climb the bestsellers list on amazon, like my very first book did, and that would keep the bills paid for several months. Then the invitations for talks started coming, but they too were not paid in the beginning. The organizers made all the travel arrangements, and I gave the talks for free. It's ironic and super confusing really - I remember flying business class, but I didn't have enough money to even afford a one way flight ticket, because I had already used up my royalties on other expenses. Today I can pick and choose which speaking invitations to accept, but back then I didn't have that luxury - I was grateful for any speaking gig and interview request I received, paid or not. One time, I gave an interview to this moderately popular journalist for her personal youtube channel, only to find out, she never released the video publicly - she posted an interview with a dog owner instead - whose dog videos had gained quite a following on social media. You could say, this was the first time I realized first hand, what white privilege was. Anyway, the point is this. Did I doubt myself? Often. Did I consider quitting? Occasionally. But did I actually quit? Never. And because I didn't quit, the world received a vast never-before seen multicultural humanitarian legacy, that you know me for today. There is no such thing as overnight success. If you have a dream, you gotta work at it day in, day out - night after night - spoiling sleep, ruining rest, forgetting fun. Persist, persist, and persist, that's the only secret - there is no other. Remember this - the size of your pocket does not determine your destiny, the size of your dedication does.”

“You may not be talking with each other. But that does not mean that you have stopped caring for her. She is capable of taking decisions for herself. She is capable of facing life all by herself. You want her to be free. You want her to find her own way. Just once in a while, let her know that you still care for her.”

“Mistakes you make during your struggles, are not the shame of your life, they are the cornerstones of clarity and conviction. Never try to hide your imperfect past, trying to adapt to perfectionist fantasy. Machines are produced in the assembly line, without past, without flaws, not life.”
