“Polyfragmentation and Engineered DID Over 20 years ago, I was made aware of a subset of patients with DID who did not develop DID organically but as a deliberate creation through trauma-based mind control. These clients present differently from those with organic DID and have different needs to be met in therapy. From early childhood, they have been subjected to a form of human slavery where their minds have been systematically fractured with traumatic experiences and then rebuilt in such a way that they could be programmed and controlled over the course of their lifespan by handlers.
