Sheryl WuDunn Biography

Sheryl WuDunn (born November 16, 1959) is an American author, journalist, and speaker of Chinese descent. She graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Business School, and worked as a reporter for The New York Times. WuDunn is the first Asian American to win a Pulitzer Prize, which she shared with her husband, Nicholas Kristof, for their coverage of China. She is best known for co-authoring books such as "Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide" and "A Path Appears: Transforming Lives, Creating Opportunity."
