“You Can Not Be Honest With Others, If You Are Not First Honest With Yourself.”

“Rainer Maria Rilke greeted and wrestled with the angels of his Duino Elegies in the solitude of a castle surrounded by white cliffs tall trees and the sea. I greeted most of mine in the solitude of a house that still vibrated with the throbs of a singular life that had helped shape many lives and with the ache of attempts to render useful service to that life. The River of Winged Dreams was therefore constructed as a link between dimensions of past and future emotions and intellect and matter and spirit.”

“First and foremost, embrace your sensitivity rather than fight it. For a long time, I saw my sensitivity as a flaw that needed fixing. I’d hear people tell me to “toughen up” or “stop being so sensitive,” and I took those words to heart. But the more I tried to suppress my sensitivity, the more miserable and anxious I became. It wasn’t until I began to accept myself for who I am that I started to see my sensitivity as a gift. It’s what allows me to connect with others deeply and write stories that resonate with people on a personal level. Embracing who I am has been empowering, and it’s allowed me to harness my sensitivity as a strength.”

“Life seldom unfolds according to our timelines or desires. The true challenge lies in maintaining our sanity, feeling accomplished, worthy, and needed amidst the unpredictability. It’s about finding purpose in every moment, regardless of the timing, and embracing the journey with resilience and purpose.”

“We are all beautifully fragmented beings, navigating life while discovering and piecing ourselves back together. In this process of restoration and growth, we create a sense of wholeness that allows us to thrive and support others in their journey toward healing and finding their path to completeness.”

“As a publicist, I've seen countless athletes and actors grapple with the fear of fading into the background or not measuring up. But remember this: your uniqueness is your strength. The world doesn't need another copy; it needs the original you. Embrace your journey, and let every challenge fuel your growth. In the face of doubt, trust in your talent and the story only you can tell. Your perseverance is your power, and your authenticity is what makes you unforgettable.”

“Feeling blessed isn’t just about counting your blessings. It’s a belief that gratitude is transformative. It goes beyond mere effort; it requires a deep-seated desire and passion for your life, no matter the circumstances. Passion is crucial because it fuels your drive and perseverance, allowing you to see opportunities where others see obstacles. It’s this fervent enthusiasm that infuses everyday moments with meaning and keeps you motivated through life’s ups and downs. By embracing gratitude with passionate intent, you cultivate a more fulfilling outlook on life.”

“There’s indeed something truly fulfilling about sharing knowledge and seeing others grow because of it. Teaching is one of the most impactful ways to make a positive difference. When you empower someone with insight and information, you’re contributing to a ripple effect that can benefit many more people down the line. It’s like planting seeds that will grow into strong, vibrant trees, enriching the world with their presence.”

“In life’s journey, we often stumble upon remarkable souls—strangers who, with their extraordinary warmth and wisdom, make us feel as though we’ve known them for a lifetime. They teach us that family isn’t solely about genetics but about the profound influence of shared inspiration and genuine connection.”

“Being blessed is not just about receiving abundance; it’s about recognizing the privilege to be a source of strength and support for others. When we use our blessings to uplift those around us, we create a ripple effect of positivity and empowerment. By being there for others, offering a helping hand, and providing encouragement, we contribute to a community where everyone has the opportunity to rise and flourish. True blessings are found in the connections we build and the lives we touch.”

“Maintaining the integrity of your reputation is crucial in a world where perceptions can quickly become reality. It's essential to be proactive in defining and upholding your personal and professional values. When you consistently demonstrate honesty, reliability, and respect, you safeguard your reputation against misunderstandings and misrepresentations. Remember, if you don't take charge of your narrative, someone else might—and they might not portray you as you truly are. Stay true to yourself, and let your actions speak louder than any words others may have.”

“Embrace the gentle breeze of inspiration, as it whispers its sweet melody into the depths of your soul. Fear not the dance of action, for it is in the graceful steps you take that your ideas find wings to soar. Let courage be your guiding light, propelling you forward with buoyant enthusiasm. With each stride, you paint the skies with your dreams, and in the embrace of possibility, you discover a world where impossibilities dissolve and your aspirations take flight.”

“From distant realms they came, two worlds converging upon a single place. There, amidst shared laughter and newfound bonds, they discovered that life's richest moments are not about materialism; it’s about mutual understanding and acceptance and more importantly, friendship.”

“I ran across an excerpt today (in English translation) of some dialogue/narration from the modern popular writer, Paulo Coelho in his book: Aleph.(Note: bracketed text is mine.)... 'I spoke to three scholars,' [the character says 'at last.'] ...two of them said that, after death, the [sic (misprint, fault of the publisher)] just go to Paradise. The third one, though, told me to consult some verses from the Koran. [end quote]' ...I can see that he's excited. [narrator]' ...Now I have many positive things to say about Coelho: He is respectable, inspiring as a man, a truth-seeker, and an appealing writer; but one should hesitate to call him a 'literary' writer based on this quote. A 'literary' author knows that a character's excitement should be 'shown' in his or her dialogue and not in the narrator's commentary on it. Advice for Coelho: Remove the 'I can see that he's excited' sentence and show his excitement in the phrasing of his quote.(Now, in defense of Coelho, I am firmly of the opinion, having myself written plenty of prose that is flawed, that a novelist should be forgiven for slipping here and there.)Lastly, it appears that a belief in reincarnation is of great interest to Mr. Coelho ... Just think! He is a man who has achieved, (as Leonard Cohen would call it), 'a remote human possibility.' He has won lots of fame and tons of money. And yet, how his preoccupation with reincarnation—none other than an interest in being born again as somebody else—suggests that he is not happy!”
