"Oh, right. What do you do there?"
Again, the nervous glance at the floor, and the small flush of color rising up his neck. "I'm a masseur. Which I know sounds phony as hell, but I'm licensed and everything. Also, my clients are women- the only men at Avalon are the ones on staff. And while I've got nothing against women at all- I'd have no friends in high school if it weren't for women- I find them as sexually attractive as roadkill possum."
Roan had to swallow back a laugh. "Don't tell them that."
"Oh, God no! I'd never get any tips then.”

Pretty soon the fire was spreading along the entire shelf, the books burning as rapidly as if they were doused in petrol. A whole stream of hot, raging, roaring amber. “A spark is just a lighted bulb for patient men. The eminent failures of a family man, both in life and in business, is a sign of medium and long term sucess. Current studies show that impatience, sadness and irritation occur through conflicts and adversities that happen behind the scenes. When you decide to be a superhuman in and out of the field of life, be clear and cordial, honest and understanding. Those who so choose, remove the crust from the mountain, while they become rare pearls for God; He wears them with the new and, for impatient men, the mystery continues as an ancient secret.”

“A special dedication and tribute goes out to Jyoti Singh. She was brutally beaten, gang-raped, tortured, and killed. All of this occurred while Ms. Singh was traveling with her male friend on a bus. Jyoti had an iron rod rammed into her vagina. Her intestines were pulled out of her body and she was thrown off of a moving bus. The incident occurred in Munirka (a neighborhood in South West Delhi, India) on December 16, 2012. Mukesh Singh, Vinay Sharma, Pawan Gupta, Akshay Thakur, Ram Singh (the bus driver), and Mohammed Afroz were convicted. The “juvenile”, Mohammed Afroz, was the rapist who shoved an iron rod inside of her vagina. Since he was 17 years old and six months old at the time of the crime, he was NOT TRIED AS AN ADULT. He was given a maximum sentence of three years’ imprisonment in a “reform facility” due to the Juvenile Justice Act. He is now a cook at a hotel in South India. Why does he get to be pampered while Jyoti suffered such a cruel fate?”

“A Special Mother
That is who you are
An Angel that once lived with us
Who now left for the Heavens
A loving parent
Such a rare gem
A true blessing
And a precious being
Truly exceptional
To us, you were like the sunshine
That made our days shine bright
You were like the flower
That gave us hope to blossom each day
Just like the rain
That came and washed away our pain
Much like an eagle
That soared against strong winds for our sake
Like a shield that ensures we are safe
Death never took you away
Because in our lives
You are somehow alive
Through the beautiful memories
We gratefully hold in our hearts
Indeed, you are our special Mother”

“A special Poem
Sofia Aur Faraz’ is a very special Poem that I wrote for my brother’s wedding, dedicated to a beautiful couple Sofia and Faraz

“A Special Prayer For Mothers
To all the Mothers
Who stand for what is right
They work so hard
Never let the weather dictate
How they love their children
Always there whenever needed
Do what is best for loved ones
Yes, they guide leaders on how to reign
Cry out to God to save future generations
As they plead for true liberation
A reliable source of inspiration
Not ordinary humans
But special women
Whom we call Moms
Fighters of hunger
Seekers of wellbeing
Promoters of longevity
Providers of stability
Pioneers of societies
Pillars of many countries
Teachers of morals and values
We pray for their blessings
And breakthroughs in all they do!
This is our special prayer for Mothers”
